Our members carry out high profile jobs and are always under scrutiny. You may find yourself involved in an official investigation, often through no fault of your own.
If this is the case remember the following:
DON'T PANIC
You are not alone. The ISU has a large number of skilled experience caseworkers across the country. We have an unrivaled reputation in achieving fair and just treatment for our members.
Speak to an ISU Rep
If you are unable to contact a local caseworker then contact ISU HQ who will forward your details to one of our national caseworkers.
Please include as much information as possible including dates and locations and any correspondence relating to your request for personal assistance to help us place you with the correct caseworker.
Do not be pressured by managers
The first indication you might get that something is of concern is when you are invited to an interview with your line manager or an investigating manger.
You have the right to be accompanied by an ISU representative.
You also have the right to ask for the interview to be postponed until your representative is available.
